Hey everyone!
I haven't been blogging for awhile, so i thought i would start again tonight. The second semester of my BYU career is almost over, and i am having mixed feelings about this. I mean I've been away from my home and family, yet those around me are becoming my family, too. For the past several weeks and months, i've been thinking of home. And when i think of home, I think of green and wet, and then my life long dream to go to the British Isles comes to the forefront of my mind. This dream stems from the fact that my ancestors hail from there, and also, my name is Irish. And from this dream, stems my obsession with Ireland and Scotland. Wow, this blogpost is going to be very random. it's completely a stream of conscienceness. I guess that i'm slightly afraid of the future. I mean all the guys i'm close to are leaving on missions for two years, and i may never see any of them again, and that's hard to swallow. The picture above is a picture of just a few of the people i've grown to love here at BYU, on an excursion to one of their homes to see Into the Woods.
Now with my traditional closer:
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
